The Florian system has three basic defenses against water infiltration

The first and most important is our Heavy-duty 5-fin E.P.D.M rubber glazing gasketing around each panel and both sides, which creates a water tight seal when the pressure plate caps are screwed down to the interior main bar.

Second is our internal gutter system which if leakage occurs the water will drip onto the interior gutter and run down the slope of the frame draining out the front eave caps & weep hole.

Third is a wet seal which is a caulking of exterior vertical and horizontal connecting points.

If the structure is installed properly you should not have any leakage issues.

Internal Wire Chase

All of Florian’s Systems are designed to allow the PV panel wires to run throughout an internal grid. Which not only creates a clean look on the outside, but also protects the wires from the elements by encasing them inside the structure.
